An excellent opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a leading Accountancy firm.

The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong background in Audit, looking for their next role with chance for real progression. The Audit Senior will take responsibility for running the audit and will manage and supervise the audit team ensuring the audits are of high quality.

Reporting to the Audit Manager, the core duties of this role will include; planning and executing the audits and reporting to managers and partners, producing work for manager and/or partner reviewing and highlighting issues and providing solutions, identifying and understanding client needs, communicating with senior client staff in order to plan an efficient audit, monitoring progress against budget and reporting to managers, preparation of accounts as required, development and supervision of trainees providing feedback on a regular basis.

The successful candidate will be either ACA or ACCA qualified and have a high level of audit and accounting experience. You will be an aspirational person, looking to work in a motivated team and have up to date technical knowledge (UK GAAP, International Auditing Standards, and Companies Act Legislation)
