Purchase Ledger Clerk

An innovative and well-established business based in Hartlebury are recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary to permanent basis.

We are looking for an individual who has strong communication skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships both internal and externally and who approaches every task with an enthusiastic and meticulous attitude.

Day to day duties within the role will include:

  • Maintaining the vendor database
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders, paying close attention to any discrepancies to be queries with suppliers
  • Obtaining approval for all invoices received to ensure that payment can be made in a timely manner.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.

You will be confident on both MS Word and Excel and be willing to cover other aspects within the finance team to cover holiday/sickness and get involved with ad hoc duties as and when required.
