Detailed job description:

The Trust are now looking to recruit a Senior CSU Accountant to provide comprehensive financial support and advice to managers and clinicians.

The Senior CSU Accountant role will see you responsible for supporting the business unit in developing plans to meet savings targets, communicating financial strategies and policies and support them to understand current performance.

You will provide comprehensive support around a number of key areas including calculating detailed budgets, providing financial analysis for business cases and identifying the financial impacts of cost pressures, savings schemes and income generation opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record of delivery and have professional credibility within senior management teams. You will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual with strong time management and organisational skills and previous line management experience. You will have a creative and innovative approach with the ability to propose and develop changes to ensure continual improvement.

Previous NHS experience is not essential for this role however experience of working within the public sector or a highly regulated industry would be an advantage.
