Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are working on a purchase ledger opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join this fast-paced purchase ledger department, working in a supportive team gaining exposure to develop skills and knowledge.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing a large volume of purchase invoices and credit notes, matching to purchase orders
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing payments and producing cheques and remittances
  • Dealing with supplier queries and resolving discrepancies.

You must be a personable individual with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate in a professional manner when liaising with both suppliers and colleagues. You will be able to work accurately and quickly with high attention to detail, competently utilising the accounting software.
