Commercial Accountant

Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, driven and entrepreneurial Commercial Accountant to join an acquisitive group with various sector interests. To work alongside the Financial Controller and Directors to assist with the due diligence on potential acquisition targets as well as management accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Investigating and analysis of company trading information, balance sheet analysis and P&L breakdown
  • Specific company due diligence exercises reporting the findings together with recommendations to the board of directors as well as the opportunities for improvement
  • Stock control and stock take management
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of the budget and financial forecasts

Essential Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Background with mergers and acquisitions (desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills

Salary £30,000 - £40,000 + benefits
