As a General Ledger Accountant for this global business, you will take on General Ledger Accounting for several entities of the business within a Shared Service Centre. This a 12 month, full time, contract position.
Responsibilities will include; month end reporting, completion of analytical reviews, fixed asset accounting, bank reconciliation and prepayments, preparation of VAT, assisting statutory accountants and auditors in the filing of annual accounts and assisting with any ledger queries.
We are looking for a proactive individual who enjoys working in a large and lively team environment, with the ability to also work with minimal supervision and on their own initiative.
Proven previous practise within a similar role is essential, with strong ledger accounting knowledge and experience of working within a Shared Service environment.
