Are you immediately available, seeking a varied role where no day is the same? A fixed term opportunity has arisen for a competent Communications Officer who is able to use their initiative to deal with incoming requests from the public.
To succeed in this role you must be accurate when recording and assessing emergency and non-emergency requests; have an empathetic approach in order to deal with potentially stressful situations; and be prepared to act on initiative, remaining calm under pressure.
As a Communications Officer you should have previous call handling experience with an ability to communicate accurate information in accordance with standards and legislation.
Within this role, you will be expected to work as part of a shift pattern, which entails 6 days working followed by 4 days off.
