Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant you will be joining an established and industry leading organisation as they enter their next growth phase. As part of the senior management team, this role will be well suited to a current CIMA, ACCA or ACA, studier and can offer further development to managerial / controller role.  The role is onsite working, with one day working from home available, if required, after probation 

• Monthly completion of various Statements, Cashflow, Reconciliations, Liabilities, Fixed Asset and key financial statistics.
• Year end - Annual completion of Statutory accounts and taxation pack (experience of UK GAAP, FRS101, FRS102 & IFRS reporting desirable)
• Monthly & quarterly financial submissions for group reporting to board
• Analyse budgets – Actual v Forecast and explain variances.
• Project Accounting - work in progress (WIP) calculations and adjustments
• Project Accounting variance analysis calculations actual v’s projected costs & margins
• Preparing monthly reporting pack
• Nominal/costs analysis, implement costs improvement methods / increase Gross Profit & Operating Result.
• Assisting with external Statutory and Internal Financial auditors
• Assisting with Budget planning
• Business Partnering support to Management, Sales, Procurement and Contract management
• Sales & Purchase ledger oversight and management
• Working capital / cash flow management
• Stock control management
• Payroll and pension processing and submissions, including P11D reporting
• VAT (quarterly), Intrastat (monthly) and CIS (monthly)submissions
• Management of all leasing/hire cars
• Company insurance / utility renewals
• Company credit card management
• Timesheet system management
