Management Accountant

CY Executive is looking for a part-qualified or actively studying Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) to join a well-established and growing organisation in Worcester. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career by supporting key accounting functions and working closely with senior finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
• Supporting cash flow management, payments, and financial controls.
• Helping with VAT returns and HMRC revenue reporting.
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and reconciling balance sheets.
• Assisting with gross margin analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Supporting payroll and pension processes (via external providers).
• Ensuring the smooth operation of financial systems.
• Assisting with year-end statutory accounts and audit preparation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or currently studying towards qualification.
• Strong foundation in bookkeeping, management accounting, and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems (Opera experience is a plus).
• Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
