Are you a highly motivated and commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical skills? We’re looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst with a Business Partnering approach to join a successful finance team.

In this key role, you’ll act as a strategic business partner across the organisation—delivering insightful financial analysis, supporting executive decision-making, and driving improved business performance across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering:

  • Work closely with senior leaders across departments to understand financial needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to support performance tracking and strategic planning.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Own the preparation of monthly reporting packs for the Executive Team and Board.
  • Produce clear, accurate analysis including KPIs, variance reports, and financial modelling.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful insights to support commercial and operational decisions.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Support the annual budgeting process, ensuring robust financial planning and review.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Monitor and report on performance vs. budget, identifying risks and opportunities.

Process Improvement & Tools:

  • Streamline reporting and forecasting processes using Excel, PowerBI and financial systems.
  • Continuously enhance FP&A processes through automation and best practice adoption.
  • Support financial systems improvement and contribute to procurement optimisation.

Strategic Projects:

  • Provide financial support for business cases, investment decisions and major initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership on growth and transformation projects.

About You:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) – essential.
  • Proven experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role.
  • Strong Excel capabilities including macros and data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, SAP, Jira or Salesforce a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
  • Experience in software/tech industry is desirable but not essential.
