Semi Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accountant who has experience of working in a UK practice and management of a client portfolio.

This a varied and interesting role for the right candidate with a broad cross-section of work.

Role responsibilities

• Preparation and finalisation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders
• and partnerships ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Calculating income tax and corporation tax liabilities while advising clients
• appropriately.
• Preparation and filing of corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• All round Book-keeping and Accounting duties
• Giving general advice to clients.

Personal Requirements

• AAT Level 4, ACCA/ACA Part Qualified.
• Experience in UK practice is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial statements.
• Tax experience desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting and tax soft software e.g. Sage, Xero, Iris.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients.
