Senior Paraplanner

An established and highly organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join its high-performing team. This is a key technical role providing full support to Consultants, delivering high-quality client outcomes with precision and professionalism.

The Role

You will:

• Produce clear, compliant and technically robust suitability reports
• Analyse client objectives, existing plans and risk profiles
• Conduct whole-of-market research across pensions, investments and protection
• Perform complex technical calculations and support cashflow modelling
• Provide high-level technical support to Consultants
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and quality standards are consistently met
• Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation

At senior level, you will also:

• Quality check and support the development of other Paraplanners
• Mentor Trainee Paraplanners
• Assist with complex cases and technical calculations
• Contribute to business improvement initiatives
• Support client meetings where required, including presenting cashflow analysis

About You

• Diploma qualified (Level 4 minimum)
• Experience within an IFA / Financial Planning environment
• Strong suitability report writing experience
• Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection
• Cashflow modelling experience
• Familiar with research tools such as FE Analytics / Iress
• Strong regulatory awareness and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Chartered or working towards Chartered status
• Experience mentoring or checking the work of others
• Confident presenting technical information
