The opportunity to work for a UK leading retailer who are currently recruiting for a Accounts Assistant on a temporary to possible permanent basis. Reporting into the Accounts Manager on a daily basis initially assisting with allocating cash receipts and reconciliation to invoicing.
- Allocating cash and banking
- Reconciliation of cash receipts against invoices
- Responding to any internal and external queries
- Assisting with Purchase Invoices and uploading to Xero
- Chasing any outstanding invoice payments
- Identifying any anomalies with approved payments
- Previous use of Sage and Xero would be beneficial must also be confident with Microsoft Packages including Excel.
- Must have worked within a similar role, ideally studying AAT
Must be able to work effectively within a small team, must be able to communicate internally and externally and have a great attention to detail.
