As an Assistant Buyer you will assist with the procurement of materials and plant on projects by working effectively as part of project teams and cross functional work teams.

To ensure your procurement and buying knowledge is always up to date you will be provided with full training within the role and ongoing development.
You will have worked in a similar procurement or Buyer position and have experience of preparing documents, obtaining quotations, identifying potential suppliers, negotiation, placing orders and scheduling, maintaining records, compliance, liaising with supplies and clients and making recommendations for cost effective solutions.
