The Assistant Director of Finance – Financial Strategy (8d), is responsible for leading and developing the Trust’s work in relation to:
- NHS Commissioner Contracts;
- Delivering an effective costing function;
- Managing the Trust’s contract income position; and
- Deploying an effective overseas visitor’s policy.
- Supporting the Director and Deputy Director of Finance in contract negotiation.
- Supporting the CSUs in development and understanding of costing, contracting and income.
- Lead on Financial Planning including the Building the Leeds Way project
In addition the Assistant Director of Finance – Financial Strategy (8d), will lead on improving the development of SLR / SLM with appropriate clinical engagement. They will be required to interpret complex and changing national policy and advise on the financial impact and expected duties coming out of the policy for the Trust.
The post-holder will deputise for the Deputy Director of Finance as appropriate and undertake all duties in line with the requirements of the role to support the Director of Finance in the delivery of financial governance and assurance, business and commercial advice across a range of capital and revenue service changes and corporate responsibilities as a senior member of the Trust.
