CY Resourcing is working very closely with a large, London based NHS Trust with their search for a new interim Procurement Projects Manager.
The role will require devising effective systems, processes and policies for tendering and working with a range of senior clinical and non-clinical Trust staff in order to plan and deliver effective tendering processes that meet high standards of governance in accordance with best practice and legal compliance.
A key element of the role will be the creation and maintenance of a new central Contracts Register for the trust that will assist Trust stakeholders to regularly and effectively manage large and small contracts for the supply of goods and services.
The post holder will be the line manager of a team of Contract Management staff.
Main Duties/Key Results Areas
- Ensure there is effective management and monitoring of all Trust contracts for the supply of goods and services, leading in negotiations to secure and maintain the supply of goods in line with contractual terms and Trust requirements.
- Develop electronic and manual filing systems of all Trust agreements / contracts, including the creation of an Electronic Contract Register
