Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation are now looking to recruit a Head of Treasury & Financial Accounts. This is a pivotal role, where you will be in a position to challenge, influence and drive through improvements to ensure the provision of a highly efficient and effective financial reporting and treasury function.
As Head of Treasury and Financial Accounts you will have overall responsibility for managing all aspects of the financial accounting and treasury function, preparing various monthly, quarterly and annual reports, ensuring capital expenditure is managed correctly, providing VAT advice and providing strong leadership to the financial accounts and treasury section
The Head of Treasury and Financial Accounts role offers the opportunity to fully utilise and enhance your strong technical expertise as well as lead and develop the team.
As a qualified Accountant, Public Sector experience is not essential however you will have substantial financial accounting experience in a complex environment and will be proactive and decisive, with strong leadership skills and whose principle specialisms are financial accounting and treasury. Experience of preparing annual accounts and compliance with IFRS is essential as is an excellent understanding of accounting process and audit requirements.
