As Senior Contract Manager you will be responsible for supporting senior staff and will also act as the lead on several contracts; responsible for procuring, negotiating and performance managing contracts to ensure cost effective use of healthcare resources to meet national and local policy and strategic objectives that support the delivery of CCG, NHS England and DoH plans within limited/fixed resources.
You will be required to work closely with colleagues within the CCG and also with external stakeholders, therefore excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence at all levels, is essential.
NHS contract management experience is essential as is an ability to travel independently across the region and occasionally beyond.
