Interim Category Manager - Clinical, required for leading, prominent NHS organisation.
Working with the Head of the Department, this integral role will provide professional leadership and procurement expertise to designated clinical categories.
As Procurement Lead you will be involved in the implementation of strategic sourcing, introduce new innovations and identify business opportunities that will enhance cost optimisation, and strengthen procurements profile and capabilities
A proven track record in NHS procurement, knowledge across a broad spectrum of commodity areas and strong communication skills will enable you to engage and influence clinical and non-clinical leads, and manage supplier and other key stakeholder relations.
Recent category and contract management experience along with specific clinical product knowledge and knowledge of EU Legislation, commercial and contract law is essential.
