The CCG based in the East Midlands is looking for a committed individual with recent accounting experience in a commissioner setting, and familiarity of the NHS general ledger system. The role will support the commissioning leads with the emphasis being on the completion of year end accounts for acute, non-acute and primary care services. The successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge of commissioning policies and procedures, combined with advanced technical skills, with the ability to use spreadsheets for detailed analysis, identifying discrepancies and suggesting options for progression. Must be confident working autonomously within agreed time-frames.
Prior CCG accounting experience is essential.
