Finance & HR Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance & HR Manager where you will contribute to the successful financial and HR management of the organisation. Previous experience of operating in a similar role within Not for Profit, Charity or Education highly desirable.   

  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable invoices, Creditor payments, petty cash, VAT, Cash flow, Financial data maintenance, Salary Reconciliation, Fixed assets, Income, and Banking Annual budget and Report on financial, Procurement, and compliance matters
  • Assisting with financial planning,.
  • Maintain accurate financial systems and procedures, monitoring both income and expenditure
  • Financial month end and year-end processes.
  • Explore opportunities to obtain donations, grants and additional funding streams
  • Undertake full, timely and accurate payroll management. Administer monthly payroll in co-ordination with payroll provider, investigate any pay issues as they arise.
  • External Auditors engagement
  • Manage Service Level Agreements and other contracts, subscriptions and licences.
  • Provide HR assistance and advice to the senior team and staff, in line with policies and procedures, taking advice from specialist support where appropriate.
  • Responsible for administration of all staff appointments (including DBS applications), leavers, contract changes and staff records, liaising with HR and payroll provider where necessary.
  • Co-ordinate staff recruitment processes.
  • Administer staff sickness records, including staff absence insurance claims.
  • Maintain and co-ordinate staff training.
  • Ensure Pension information is sent Payroll and provide pension information as part of the annual accounts as required.
  • Review and update HR policies.
