Head of Finance

CY Executive Resourcing are exclusively aligned with an incredible organisation to engage a qualified and confident Head of Finance to join their Team.

The new Head of Finance will take the lead and responsibility for the management of the entire finance function, reporting directly into the board. The role requires the post holder to provide a high-quality internal service to the organisation in order to support the decision making of senior managers and directors on complex financial planning, control, management and costing advice.

Role Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Leading in the production of directorate annual financial plans, and supporting the Director of Finance and Compliance in presenting to the committees
• Supporting the Director of Finance and Compliance to produce medium term financial plans based on strategic objectives
• Partner and build strong relationships with all Directors, Senior Managers and their teams
• Lead the finance function to continuously identify and improve effectiveness of accounting systems and financial reporting

The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management skills and possess strong leadership skills, maximising and driving team performance. They will have a strong track record of providing high quality advice to both finance and non-finance heads and experience of working in the NFP/Charity sector.

Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA required.
