Director of Special Projects UK

Seeking a Director of Special Projects for our client, an industry-leading medical product company.

The Director of Special Projects UK is a mid-term contract role, Midlands based. Estimated 6-12 months in duration, and will manage highly complex, time sensitive projects of strategic importance. Primary deliverables are the planning and execution within time and budget of two independent projects in the UK:

• Move/consolidation of three facilities in Hereford UK into a single, larger facility, to include plans for exiting the three existing facilities
• To move the Manufacturing facility to a new purpose-built, larger facility to accommodate an expected threefold increase in demand and output of product

The ideal candidate will:

• Come from a Medical or Pharmaceutical background.
• Have strong supply chain and warehousing experience and a demonstrated understanding of Manufacturing/supply chain processes
• Have experience of working in a £100m T/O Manufacturing company
